First Donation of Swanyee in Rakhine State

The heavy flooding and landslides that began June 13, 2010 have exacerbated an already critical situation in Northern Rakhine State.
Families have been forced to evacuate from their homes, and so, they have no basic household utensils. There are so much needs such as clothes, foods, housing, buildings, bridges and roads which are severely damage because of winds and rains.
Therefore, Swanyee Development Foundation tries to aid the beneficiaries as soon as possible. Swanyee announces the invitation for donation especially clothes through the email and phone. So many individuals, UN organizations, International NGOs, Local NGOs and business send clothes to us.
Swanyee organizes the donations, systematically lists down and packs these materials. With the coordination of RCA, a local NGO, which have experience in Rakhine State, Swanyee sends the packages to three villages of Date Pa Village Track in Pone Nar Kyun Township.
With the Cooperation of Swanyee and RCA, valuable assessment is made. According to the assessment, needs are clarified as health awareness, jetty, life board, health centre, school, pond renovation and small bridge are still needed.
Swanyee will try to help the beneficiaries of any location within its capacity if there is no assistance from donors.
